Kamiōoka Station (上大岡駅) is in Kōnan Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Keikyu runs the elevated station on its main line, and the Yokohama City Transportation Bureau runs the underground station on the Yokohama Blue Line. The Keikyu station opened on 1 April 1930.
History
The Shōnan Electric Railway, now Keikyu, opened Kamiōoka Station on 1 April 1930. A passing track was first used on 15 December 1951. On 12 April 1963, a new station building with a department store opened, the level crossing inside the station was removed, and an underground ticket gate began to be used.
On 1 July 1970, heavy rain swelled the Ōoka river and water flowed back into the sewers. A stretch of the Yokohama subway under construction was flooded, and the Kamiōoka works received a large volume of water and a layer of mud. The Yokohama Municipal Subway's Kamiōoka station opened on 16 December 1972. The Keikyu platforms were made long enough for longer trains on 17 May 1974.
The station was rebuilt between 1996 and 1997. A new station building called Yume-Ōoka opened on 1 October 1996, with the Keikyu department store and Wing Kamiōoka. The building was finished on 14 March 1997. The upward Keikyu line was elevated on 12 May 1997, and the downward line on 22 June 1997. In 1998, the Keikyu station was selected for the Kantō Stations list, for its connecting passage with a voice guide and its ties to the surrounding area.

Airport Express trains began to stop here on 16 May 2010, and public Wi-Fi on the subway began on 1 May 2012. Rapid trains on the subway began to stop here on 18 July 2015. On 5 March 2018, the station sign was changed for a limited period to a character-themed name. From 30 July 2018, the Hokuto no Ken anniversary collaboration changed the station sign for a limited period, and from 8 July 2019, a One Piece collaboration did the same. On 30 November 2019, Keikyu platform doors began on the first pair of platforms.
The last changes were platform doors and displays. Keikyu platform doors started on the remaining platforms on 15 February 2020. A Sumikko Gurashi collaboration changed the station sign for a limited period from 18 November 2020. On 2 July 2026, the Keikyu departure displays were changed to LCD screens that imitate split-flap boards.
