Shōnandai Station (湘南台駅) is in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture. Odakyu Electric Railway, Sagami Railway and the Yokohama City Transportation Bureau all run services here. The Yokohama Blue Line serves it. It opened on 7 November 1966.

History

The Odakyu Enoshima Line station opened on 7 November 1966 as a stop for local and semi-express trains. The station building was made elevated on 26 December 1974.

In August 1991 Fujisawa City, Odakyu, the Yokohama City Transportation Bureau and Sagami Railway signed a basic agreement on connecting the lines, putting the station underground, and building a passage and an underground plaza. Improvement work started on 11 July 1995.

On 10 March 1999 the Sagami Izumino Line extended here from Izumi-Chūō, and a west underground plaza opened. On 29 August 1999 the Yokohama Blue Line extended from Totsuka, and part of an east underground plaza opened. On 10 October 1999 the underground Odakyu station building and the east-west passage opened. Improvement work finished on 31 March 2000.

Odakyu express stops began on 2 December 2000. The Shōnan express was created on 23 March 2002 and replaced by the rapid express on 11 December 2004. Platform doors started on 15 September 2007.

A public Wi-Fi service started on 1 May 2012. An approach melody using the song Toki yo by Hoshino Gen started on 5 December 2025.
