Tama-Center Station (多摩センター駅) is an elevated station in Tama, Tokyo, run by Odakyu Electric Railway, Keio and Tokyo Tama Intercity Monorail. It first opened on 18 October 1974.

History

Keio opened its Tama Center station on 18 October 1974, when its Sagamihara Line was extended here. Odakyu's Tama Center station opened on 23 April 1975, with the extension of the Odakyu Tama Line. The Tama Monorail opened its Tama Center station on 10 January 2000.

Keio began limited express trains on 28 May 1992. On 2 December 2000, Odakyu began the Romancecar Homeway and express trains. On 25 March 2001, Keio began express trains on the Sagamihara Line. Its limited express trains were dropped at the same time, but they came back later. Odakyu began the Tama Express on 23 March 2002, and section semi-express trains on 11 December 2004.

Odakyu renovated its station in March 2006. The Metro Homeway Romancecar began on 15 March 2008. Keio's limited express trains returned on 22 February 2013. Odakyu began semi-express trains on 15 March 2014. Keio began semi-limited express trains on 25 September 2015. On 26 March 2016 Odakyu's section semi-express and Romancecar services ended. Keio's Keio Liner began on 22 February 2018. On 17 March 2018, Odakyu's commuter express and rapid express services began, and its semi-express, Chiyoda Line through express and Tama Express services ended.

Keio named Hello Kitty honorary station master of Tama Center on 12 March 2016. The station was redesigned in dark blue, gold and wine red. Odakyu's station was decorated with Sanrio characters on 6 December 2018. On 15 March 2025, Odakyu Tama Line trains with through services to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line began stopping here again.
