A new section of the Japanese National Railways Tokaido Main Line between Nishinomiya Station (now Nishiomiya Station was not correct, the correct is the current West Nishinomiya is actually Nishinomiya, the current Nishiomiya is actually Hanshin Nishinomiya, but the original Nishinomiya is the current Nishinomiya) and Sumiyoshi Station opened, starting passenger and freight operations, constructed with a donation of 10,000 yen for construction costs and a petition from the then Seido Village, with around 80 passengers per day.
