Kōjiya Station (糀谷駅) is an elevated station in Nishi-Kōjiya, Ōta, Tokyo. Keikyu runs it. It opened on 28 June 1902.

History

Kōjiya Station opened on 28 June 1902, when the Anamori Line of the Keihin Electric Railway opened between Kamata Station and Anamori Station. The Anamori Line is now the Airport Line. On 26 April 1992, the station building rebuild was completed. On 1 April 1993, the line was extended to Haneda Station (now Tenkūbashi Station), and through services to central Tokyo began.

On 1 December 2005, the station building was moved to a temporary building, as work on the grade-separation project near Keikyu Kamata Station moved forward. Platforms were also extended for longer trains on 10 December 1994. On 3 March 2007, the down platform toward Kamata was moved north. On 17 November 2007, at night, the stairs on the down line toward Ōtorii were closed and removed. On 18 November 2007, the up platform toward Kamata was moved north.

On 2 March 2008, the down platform toward Ōtorii was moved north. On 6 April 2008, the up platform toward Ōtorii was moved north. On 22 April 2008, the south exit ticket gates were moved toward Keikyu Kamata Station. On 25 September 2008, the footbridge was closed and removed at night.

On 16 May 2010, the up platform was elevated. A single-track parallel section was created between Keikyu Kamata and Ōtorii. In the same timetable revision, the station became a stop for the Airport Express, now called the Express, and Keikyu's first white LED departure board was installed. On 21 October 2012, the down platform was elevated, and the single-track parallel section was shortened to this station. In March 2017, the grade-separation project near Keikyu Kamata Station was completed.
