Shin-Yurigaoka Station (新百合ヶ丘駅) is in Asao Ward, Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. Odakyu Electric Railway runs it on the Odakyu Odawara Line. It opened on 1 June 1974.

History

The station opened on 1 June 1974. The line was moved to the southeast to ease a curve, and the station was built there. Express, semi-express and local trains stopped here from the start. A land readjustment project for the area around the station began in 1977. Before then, the south side was woodland with no buildings. The Asao Ward office was built on the north side in 1982, and the south side was cleared. The readjustment project ended in 1984. In 1986, bus stops were set up on the south side, and many bus routes that had run from Yurigaoka Station now ran from here. Shopping buildings on the south side were built from 1990 onward.

Express services grew from 2000. On 2 December 2000, the Romancecar Home Way began to stop here, and express trains began on the Tama Line. On 23 March 2002, the Romancecar Support and Enoshima began to stop here, and Tama express and Shōnan express services began. On 11 December 2004, rapid express and section semi-express services began, and some Romancecar trains were renamed Hakone and Sagami. A lift-only exit opened on 23 November 2007. On 1 March 2008, the ticket gate was renamed, and an escalator was added on the Shinjuku side. The Asagiri Romancecar, now Fujisan, began to stop here on 17 March 2012.
