Tsurumaki-Onsen Station (鶴巻温泉駅) is a ground-level station in Hadano, Kanagawa Prefecture. Odakyu Electric Railway runs it. It serves the Odakyu Odawara Line. It opened on 1 April 1927 as Tsurumaki Station.
History
The station opened on 1 April 1927 as Tsurumaki Station. Direct (直通) express trains stopped here, and local trains ran only between Shinjuku and Inada-Noborito, now Mukōgaoka-Yūen. The station building was first on the south side and was later moved to the north side. On 15 March 1930 the station was renamed Tsurumaki-Onsen. Express stops began on 1 September 1937. On 20 October 1944 the station was renamed Tsurumaki again. In November 1944 express services were suspended during the war. From June 1945 all local trains ran through, and the direct service ended.
On 1 October 1946 a semi-express service was introduced. On 1 October 1949 express service returned. On 25 March 1955 a commuter express was introduced. On 1 April 1958 the station was renamed Tsurumaki-Onsen again. On 25 March 1960 a commuter semi-express was introduced.
On 11 December 2004 a rapid express and a section semi-express service started and stopped here. In 2008 a ramp on the north side, a multi-purpose toilet and tactile guide boards were added. On 17 March 2012 the section semi-express no longer stopped here west of Hon-Atsugi. In January 2014 station numbering was introduced. On 17 March 2018 semi-express trains no longer stopped here west of Isehara. On 23 June 2018 the south ticket gate moved to the south side of the overbridge, and lifts and escalators came into use.
